Navy SEAL Museum to Offer Youth Fitness Event, Canine Display at Mandel Recreation Center in Palm Beach

Families invited to experience physical training, teamwork, and military working-dog skills during special community celebration

Fort Pierce, Fla. – January 15, 2026 – The Navy SEAL Museum will feature a special Navy SEAL canine demonstration and youth physical fitness event on Saturday, January 24, offering families a rare, up-close look at the elite training, teamwork, and mission readiness of Navy SEALs.

As part of the Mandel Recreation Center’s 6th Birthday Bash, the canine educational display and youth physical training activity will take place on the east end of the Mandel Recreation Center’s Oakley Gage Debbs Athletic Field between 10:30 and 11:00 AM.

Designed to be dynamic and engaging, the fitness activity is curated for children ages 4 to 12. The canine demonstration will highlight the capabilities of working dogs in military special operations, followed by special photo opportunities for guests.

The celebratory event will include inflatables, games, and other family-friendly activities, along with tents, tables, and seating for guests.

“This demonstration is a powerful way to connect the Palm Beach community—especially families and young people—with the values of teamwork, discipline, and service that define the Navy SEALs,” said Rick Kaiser, Executive Director of Navy SEAL Museum Fort Pierce. “By bringing these interactive experiences directly to the public, we are helping preserve the legacy of the SEAL Teams, while inspiring the next generation to appreciate the sacrifices made in defense of our nation.”

This special engagement is a precursory event to the Palm Beach Evening of Tribute on March 24 at The Breakers Palm Beach, benefitting the Navy SEAL Museum and Navy SEAL Foundation.

“Our mission is to honor the service and sacrifice of the Naval Special Warfare community and their families, while educating the public about the legacy they uphold,” Kaiser continued. “The Navy SEAL Museum and Navy SEAL Foundation have partnered for the Palm Beach Evening of Tribute to amplify the impact to the NSW community we serve.”

Families, community members, and visitors are encouraged to attend this free event and enjoy a morning of celebration, learning, and inspiration at the Mandel Recreation Center.
