An Extraordinary Evening at Quail Valley River Club Returns to Vero Beach

Fort Pierce, Fla. – January 20, 2026 – The National Navy SEAL Museum announces the return of An Extraordinary Evening at Quail Valley in Vero Beach, Florida. Hosted by philanthropic leaders Helen and Jim Shafer and Charlene and Don McClure, the March 2, 2026, event will offer guests a firsthand look at the mission of the Museum, its impact on the local community, and the preservation of Naval Special Warfare legacy from where it began in Fort Pierce.

“This event is only possible due to the dedication of our committee members and the ongoing generosity of our supporters,” said Rick Kaiser, Executive Director of the Navy SEAL Museum Fort Pierce and retired Navy SEAL Master Chief. “Hosting this event in our own backyard allows the local community to experience firsthand the impact the Museum has on our local community, our Naval Special Warfare community, and at a national level.”

The event will be held at the Quail Valley River Club and will feature Lieutenant (SEAL) Jason Redman, USN (Retired), as the special keynote speaker. Jason was severely wounded outside Fallujah, Iraq leading his team on a direct-action mission targeting a high value Al Qaeda leader. The team survived the devastating ambush only after calling a Close Air Support mission from an Air Force AC-130 Gunship directly on their position.

Redman will deliver a deeply personal address centered on his firsthand experiences of perseverance and resilience. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Navy SEAL Museum Charities Program.

“We are honored to welcome back this group of local patriots for our annual event,” said Dr. Jim Shafer, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Navy SEAL Museum and co-chair of the Vero Beach Committee. “An Extraordinary Evening at Quail Valley has become a hallmark event in our community, giving patriots an evening of shared pride, and celebrating the enduring history that lives on our beaches, while honoring and supporting the men and families of Naval Special Warfare.”

Seating is strictly limited. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged. Sponsorship opportunities are available. To learn more or reserve seats, visit navysealmuseum.org/verobeach.
