Global Reach
In 2007, the Museum achieved National stature, reflecting its growth and significance in preserving Naval Special Warfare history. This designation as a cultural identity of national prominence speaks to the evolution the Museum has seen since its inception in 1985.
The influence of the Museum now reaches beyond national boundaries with the dedication of the US Naval Combat Demolition Units/Scouts & Raiders Monument Park in Normandy in 2024. Just as Navy SEALs operate on every continent around the world, the Museum seeks to honor their heritage by commanding a global presence to educate and inspire for the benefit of many.
