Navy SEAL Museum Ft. Pierce

The Scholarship Program

College tuition scholarships are awarded to children of U.S. Special Operations members. The sacrifices our Special Operations families make are immeasurable. The Navy SEAL Museum is humbled to have committed partners who come alongside our families and help support the higher education of these kids through our Trident House Charities Scholarship Program.

Comprised of four tenants, the Trident House Charities Program seeks to serve Special Operations by addressing their needs and the needs of their families. One arm of this outreach is our Scholarship Program. Made possible by the generous donations of caring benefactors like yourselves, The Museum’s Scholarship Program offers gifts in various amounts to the children of Special Operations individuals.

The Marlee Foundation has been doing this successfully for several years, helping fund the higher education of hardworking students who aspire to attend college, trade, or technical school. Mr. William Hale spearheaded this inspiring initiative, impacting the lives of young people who might otherwise not have the opportunity to attend school.

Sponsored by Tim and Pati Walsh, Trident Tuition Funds was created to honor one of the first Scouts & Raiders, J.W. Lunde. This initiative provides financial support to the dependents of Naval Special Warfare individuals who wish to provide a private education for their preschool-age children, private school for children Kindergarten through 12th grade, and to help supplement college tuition for students at university.

Scholarship applications for the 2021-2022 academic year for The Marlee Foundation and Trident Tuition Funds will be available near the end of March and must be returned no later than May 15, 2021 for consideration. Applications for each will be available for download from the Museum’s website. All students of Special Operations individuals are encouraged to apply.
