Dear Friends, We are excited and pleased to invite you to attend an extraordinary event to be held September 23rd at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. We ask you to mark your calendars and let us know if you can join the 300 invited guests on this Sunday afternoon within Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Our sponsoring host and benefactor for this special fundraising event is the National Navy UDT/ SEAL Museum & Memorial, located on the original 1942 training base on North Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce, Florida. Your attendance will help support the key missions of the Museum as outlined later in this communication. Our host is arranging a simulated tactical hostage rescue with warriors arriving via air and land. Under the leadership and organization of the Museum, we are able to gather these elite special operators and their highly trained canines to create an entirely memorable experience for you. Following the tactical demonstration on the playing field, we will adjourn to the stadium’s ban- quet facility for a seated Maryland-themed dinner. We will hear comments from honored guests VADM Bob Harward SEAL (Ret) and Dr. Dorothy Woods, who lost her husband in the Bengazi tragedy. Our evening will conclude with a live auction headlined with bidding on a SEAL puppy to be specifically trained and donated to a worthy SEAL veteran. We have included information in this communication on how you may join SEAL Team Maryland in supporting this UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL event.
