Navy SEAL Museum, Schumacher Automotive Group, and Community Partners Donate Vehicle to Medal of Honor Recipient

West Palm Beach, Fla. – April 16,2019 – On Monday April 22, 2019, Schumacher Automotive Group, together with community partners Hulett Environmental Services, Anderson Construction and the National Navy SEAL Museum, will honor Medal of Honor recipient, retired United States Navy SEAL, Britt K.Slabinksi, with a gift of a 2019 black Chevy Silverado LT 4 x 4.

U.S. Navy SEAL Master Chief Special Warfare Operator Britt Slabinski was awarded the Medal of Honor on May 24, 2018 for his actions during the Battle of Takur Ghar.Slabinski’s operational assignments include SEAL Team Four (1990 –1993); Naval Special Warfare Development Group(1993 –2006); and Command Master Chief of Naval Special Warfare Tactical Development and Evaluation Squadron Two (2006 –2008). He was the Senior Enlisted Advisor of the Joint Special Operations Command, Washington, DC Office (2008 –2010), and Command Master Chief, Naval Special Warfare Group Two (2010 –2012).

Slabinski has completed nine overseas deployments and fifteen combat deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism, including missions Operations Enduring Freedomand Iraqi Freedom. He retired in June 2014 as the Director of Naval Special Warfare Safety Assurance and Analysis Program after more than twenty-five years of service.

“The Navy SEAL Museum works tirelessly to acknowledge and venerate the service of our veterans,” said Rick Kaiser, retired Navy SEAL and Museum Executive Director. “We are grateful for the support of our community partners, who share our same patriotism and values, providing this unique opportunity to honor a Medal of Honor Recipient.”

The ceremony will open with the presentation of the Colors by the Boca Raton Community High School NJROTC, followed by the National Anthem sung by country music artist Emily Brooke, with a few words shared by participating donors and guests before the presentation of the vehicle. Festivities will include a meet and greet with Mr. Slabinski, Navy SEAL Museum staff and Board Members, Chuck and Amanda Schumacher, and representatives from Hulett and Anderson, as well as other dignitaries in attendance.

The ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM in the showroom of Schumacher Buick GMC of North Palm Beach, located at 3720 Northlake Boulevard in Lake Park, Florida. Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served. Press is welcome to attend.

Navy SEAL Museum Receives Grant For Obstacle Course Renovations

Fort Pierce, Fla. – May 3, 2019 – The Navy SEAL Museum was recently awarded a generous grant from the Armed Forces Families Foundation (AFFF). The $170,775 gift will enable the Museum to renovate the outdoor obstacle course and make modifications to update and renew the equipment.

Navy SEAL Museum Donates Working Dog to Special Operations Veteran

Fort Pierce, Fla. – March11, 2019 – As part of its K9 Project initiative, the Navy SEAL Museum has donated another working dog to a veteran of the Special Operations community. With the support of Baden K-9, the Museum’s K9 Project places working dogs with active military and veterans who have previously served.
